Boys Cross Country
The boys cross country team had one of their best seasons in recent history, highlighted by a second place finish at the Eagle Invitational, their best finish at the meet since 2000.
Four of the top fifteen finishers were Apple Valley runners, while three other Valley runners finished within the top 30.
The team had another second place finish at the St. Michael Albertville meet with two top ten finishers and and four top 30 finishers.
The team also had a fourth-place finish at the South Suburban Conference meet, the best conference meet they had since they were in the Lake Conference in 2002. The team also had its best finish in the SSC since the conference was formed.
Senior Robert Hapke qualified for the state meet at St. Olaf College, as well, the third Apple Valley runner in five years to qualify for the meet.
