Boys Soccer

The boys soccer team had a rough season this year, finishing with a 6-11 record.

The highlight of the season was Valley’s underdog 2-1 win over Park, the team that ousted them from the previous year’s section semifinals.

The team also got big wins over Robbinsdale Cooper, Lakeville South, Rochester Century, and Shakopee.

This season also marked head coach Chuck Scanlon’s last season coaching the team. He has been the head coach of the soccer team since the program began, and has established himself as one of the greatest high school coaches in state history.

The Eagles will look to have a better season next year with the addition of new, young, and talented players.  Scallion’s son Chris will be taking the helm next year as head coach of the team.
