Words really can’t describe Apple Valley’s dominance in wrestling. Eleven straight state titles, 24 in total. There is no school in the state more dominant than Apple Valley when it comes to wrestling. And the Eagles continued that tradition of excellence this year.

Perhaps one of the greatest high school wrestlers ever, Mark Hall has won twelve state titles for wrestling: six team titles, six individual titles. Hall is the first Minnesota wrestler to win six individual titles.

Sophomore Gable Steveson also continued to make a name for himself, winning his second individual state title. He is one of the top ten wrestlers for his age group in the nation.

Nate Larson, Sebas Swiggum, Jalen Thul, and Brock Morgan also finished in the top 5 for their groups, which helped Apple Valley win the team state title.
