A memory that stands out in Tia’s mind from her time at AVHS is the pregame rituals that she would partake in with the varsity volleyball team before every game. “Before each game we would listen to really loud music in the locker room to get pumped up, and before each home game we would go down by the weight room and run around, bang on the lockers, sing the school song, and do a few cheers.”
