Yassin Abasher

The friendships we take away from high school are some of the greatest friendships we will ever make. A certain encounter with his friends sticks out in Yassin’s mind as one of his best memories from AVHS. Yassin was walking through the library one day after school, and he ran into at least 10 different people that he waved and said hi to. “They all seemed to genuinely enjoy being my friends. It was just really nice knowing that people care about me. The rest of the day I was in a great mood.”
