The 2019 Powder-Puff game surprised us all. Although even though the Juniors feared they would lose, they held onto the glimmer of hope until the end.  

“I feel like we have a chance, a minimal one, but…” said Eleanor Pederson. 

Each player gave the game their best, and it paid off. At halftime, the juniors led 12-8.

Then things changed.

Maybe it was the beat of “All-Star” that the band was playing. Or maybe it was Jenna Gootee’s inspirational words to the seniors, “If you don’t know what’s going on-just do it 100% anyway.”

Regardless of the reason, the seniors gained their footing in the second half and took the win. The final score was juniors 26, seniors 30.
